Ayodhya with Prayagraj & Chitrakoot Tour Package 3 Nights & 4 Days

Day 1 — Ayodhya: The Birthplace of Lord Ram

Your journey begins in Ayodhya — the city where Lord Ram was born. Our driver will pick you up from Ayodhya Railway Station or Airport and take you to your hotel for check-in.

After a welcome drink and some rest, we start the day's sightseeing. The first stop is the magnificent Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, which is one of the biggest attractions in all of India right now. The energy and devotion you feel here is truly special.

From there, we visit Hanumangarhi, a 76-step temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman that gives a great view of the city. Then we move to Kanak Bhawan, a beautiful temple with golden idols of Lord Ram and Maa Sita. We also cover Dashratha Mahal, the palace of Raja Dashratha, and Ram Ki Paidi, the iconic ghat steps by the Saryu River.

The highlight of Day 1 is the evening Saryu Aarti at Saryu Ghat — the lamps, the chants, and the river together create a moment you will never forget. We end the evening with a visit to Guptar Ghat and Suryakund before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 — Prayagraj: Where Three Holy Rivers Meet

After breakfast, we drive from Ayodhya to Prayagraj. The journey is around 170 km and takes approximately 4 to 5 hours via NH330 and NH19.

Prayagraj (earlier known as Allahabad) is one of the holiest cities in India. The most important place here is the Triveni Sangam — the meeting point of Ganga, Yamuna, and the invisible Saraswati. Taking a holy dip here is considered very sacred and many pilgrims come specifically for this.

We also visit Lete Hanumanji Temple (also called Bade Hanuman Ji), where the idol of Lord Hanuman is in a reclining position — this is quite rare and very interesting. Then we go to Akshay Vat, a holy tree inside the Allahabad Fort that is believed to be immortal, and Alopi Devi Temple, a shakti peeth of great religious importance.

After finishing sightseeing in Prayagraj, we drive to Chitrakoot (around 130 km, 3 to 4 hours) for overnight stay.

Day 3 — Chitrakoot: Where Ram Spent His Exile

After breakfast, the full day is dedicated to exploring Chitrakoot — a quiet, forested, and deeply spiritual town on the border of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

This is the place where Lord Ram, Maa Sita, and Lakshman spent 11.5 years of their 14-year exile. The hills, the rivers, and the temples here breathe the story of the Ramayana.

We start with the Kamadgiri Parikrama — a 5 km peaceful walk around the sacred Kamadgiri hill, which is believed to fulfill all wishes. Then we visit Hanuman Dhara, where a natural stream falls on the idol of Lord Hanuman at the top of the hill (there are steps to climb — optional for elderly).

The afternoon covers Gupt Godavari (caves where the Godavari river flows underground), Sphatik Shila (a flat rock on the Mandakini River where Ram and Sita are believed to have rested), and Sati Anusuya Ashram in the forest. We also visit Bharat Koop and Janaki Kund before heading back to the hotel.

Evening at Ramghat Aarti is another beautiful experience — similar to the Saryu Aarti, the lamps float on the Mandakini River as priests chant prayers at sunset.
